hen house

Ely, Nevada

This contemporary coop maximizes space with sophisticated simplicity. Providing the essentials — protection, food and comfort — came first for the unique user-group of 3 hens. The diagonal placement of cedar boards was inspired by the existing structural cross-bracing. Branches of a removed bush in the run area are used as the interior perches. Nesting boxes with a hatch allows for easy access to the eggs.
